New wand

I have another one sitting in my car, which I neglected to photograph, and considering that my car is in BC sans me, it will remain that way for the forseeable future. My real new wand is another gift for a friend. This one reflects the mistakes made in the past wands (notably, lacking them), and I consider it to be one of the better things I've made recently.

I tried my hand at gold leafing an Ollivander's logo on the bottom, obviously it didn't go extremely well, but I think it went well enough for my first try.

On an unrelated but still somehow related topic, I should update this more. I haven't been despite the face that I've been sketching and drawing and making my brains out. Depending on whether I still have a job after thursday, I just might devote ten minutes here and there for casting my two cents into the terrifying oblivion of the internet, to reside forever despite their probable fate being complete and eternal invisibility.
